Dr. Anthony Luévanos

Dr. Anthony Luévanos has over 17 years of experience in
education. He is currently a research scientist with Texas A&M
University examining executive leadership behavior in the context
of diversity, equity, and inclusion. A teacher for 10 years and an
administrator for 7 years, he taught and led in rural, suburban, and
urban environments across all campus types—elementary, middle,
high, and alternative schools. He holds educator credentials in
elementary and secondary education as well as Spanish language
and literature, ESL, bilingualism, and special education. Dr.
Luévanos received a B.A. in Spanish literature and language, an
M.S. Ed. in Education Administration, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum
and Instruction from Baylor University. A doctoral candidate in the
Education Administration and Human Resource Development
program at Texas A&M University’s College of Education, he is
also a trained professional leadership coach through Rice
University’s Doerr Institute.
