Josh Caballero

Josh Caballero is the Community Engagement Officer for the Housing and Community Development office at the City of Waco. In this new role, Josh is working with community partners to meet the goals of the City’s Strategic Housing Plan and ensure that community members have the opportunity to be engaged in the process.

During his time in Waco, Josh has been active on several community boards. He currently serves on the Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network board of trustees, the board of directors for American Gateways, the Hispanic Leaders Network board and recently joined the board of directors for Waco Family Medicine. In addition, he serves on the local advisory boards for Planned Parenthood and MCH Family Outreach and was named a 40 Under 40 honoree in 2020 by the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce.

When Josh is not doing something in the community, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer and daughter Millee Grace.
